Kelsey Krueger

Kelsey Krueger is an educational audiologist for Summit County Educational Service Center. She has also practiced for years in private practice and hospital settings. Her clinical experience includes work with diagnostics, amplification, implantable technology, and tinnitus treatment.

Kelsey received her Bachelor of Arts in Speech & Hearing Science from The Ohio State University and remained at the University to complete her Doctorate of Audiology in 2016. Kelsey has served on the Ohio Academy of Audiology Board as a Member-At-Large since 2017. Kelsey has also been actively involved on the Ohio Academy of Audiology’s Conference Planning Committee. She enjoys exploring and spending time outside with her family.

Carrie Wingo

Carrie Wingo is a Clinical Manager at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center with over 20 years of experience in hearing loss diagnosis and treatment.  She earned her Master’s degree from the University of Minnesota in 2000 and her Doctorate of Audiology from the University of Florida in 2007.  Carrie's primary clinical interests include infant hearing assessment and pediatric amplification.  Outside of work, Carrie enjoys reading, Pilates, and spending time with her husband Brad, children Ellie and Reece, and dog Boomer.

Lisa Reedy

Lisa Reedy obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from the University of Akron and then her Doctorate in Audiology from NOAC (Northeast Ohio Audiology Consortium) through the University of Akron. Before joining Oticon Medical, Lisa worked in a variey of settings including non-profit, ENT clinic, hospital, and private practice. Most of those roles concentrated on working with patients with implantable devices and hearing aids. She has also volunteered for various positions within the American Academy of Audiology as well as the Ohio Academy of Audiology for which she is currently the Membership Chair. Lisa joined Oticon Medical in 2019 and is the Clinical Territory Manager for the Midwest Region.

Taylor Gilger

University Hopsitals/ Akron ENT

Taylor Gilger is a clinical audiologist at University Hospitals - Akron ENT.  She received her Bachelors of Arts in Speech and Hearing Sciences at The Ohio State University in 2015 and her clinical Doctorate of Audiology from the Northeast Ohio Au.D. Consortium in 2020.  Her clinical interests include electrophysiology, vestibular evaluations, and ototoxic monitoring. 

 

Taylor has been a member of OAA since 2016 as a student and has continued her involvement through participating in the MAFO conference, as Northeast Ohio liaison, and currently serving as secretary.

 

In her free time, she loves to spend time with her husband, extended family and new nephew, and her puppy Goose.

Samantha Mogan

The OSU James Cancer Hospital

Samantha is a clinical audiologist who started her career in May 2022 Mary Rutan Hospital, where she performed adult and pediatric diagnostic audiology, adult vestibular diagnostics, and provided hearing aids for patients with hearing loss. In December 2023, Samantha joined the team at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center James Cancer Hospital, where she specializes in adult diagnostic audiology, with a specific emphasis on ototoxicity management. Additionally, Samantha is part of the audiology team at OhioHealth where she performs newborn hearing screenings.

Samantha completed her Bachelor of Arts in Speech and Hearing and her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences at Cleveland State University in 2018 and her Doctorate of Audiology at The Ohio State University in 2022. She completed her fourth-year externship at the Columbus VA Medical Center.

Outside of the clinic, Samantha enjoys running, hiking, water skiing/boating, and spending time with her family and friends. 

Alicia Gonzalez

Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center

Alicia Gonzalez, Au.D., is beginning her career at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center (CCMHC). She received her Bachelor of Science in Allied Health Sciences from Grand Valley State University (Allendale, MI) in 2018 and her Doctorate of Audiology from The Ohio State University in 2022. During her time at Ohio State, she served on her local Student Academy of Audiology chapter executive board (2019-2021) and was the 2020-2021 Leadership Education in Neurodevelopment Disabilities (LEND) audiology trainee. In 2021, she received the Robert D. Kruse Memorial Scholarship from the Cleveland Clinic Center for Health Sciences and the Jerry Northern Scholarship in Pediatric Audiology from the American Academy of Audiology Foundation. Dr. Gonzalez completed her fourth-year externship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, OH.

 

Currently, Dr. Gonzalez is the inaugural Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) fellow at CCHMC. In this role, she provides pediatric audiologic care and completes research/projects to improve diversity, equity, and inclusion within the hospital and community. Aside from research to improve healthcare disparities, her clinical interests include interprofessional practice, early intervention and identification, pediatric ototoxic monitoring, and pediatric amplification. In addition to being a volunteer and member of the Ohio Academy of Audiology, she is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.

 

In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her significant other and dog, playing board games, traveling, and visiting family.

Elizabeth Striegl

Lorain County Education Service Center

Liz Striegl graduated from NOAC in 2016. She has lived in Lorain County since graduation and worked clinically in a retail practice until 2021, when she transitioned to work in the schools as an educational Audiologist. This more Flexibile schedule has allowed her to be more active in professional organizations and has served on the board of OAA as MAL for the last 2 years. She has also served on the conference committee for OSSPEAC for 2 years. She would like to serve as MAL to be the voice of educational Audiologists in the state, continue her work on the OAA mentor program, and help continue to make positive changes for the profession in the state of Ohio
