Katherine Miltiades

Katherine (Kate) Miltiades, AuD, MBA is an audiologist with Mercy Health in Cincinnati.  She graduated with her Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Akron in 2014, and then stayed on at UA as part of the Northeast Ohio AuD Consortium to complete her AuD in 2018.  During her time at NOAC, she served on the Student Academy of Audiology board as the NOAC Student Liaison for The Ohio Academy of Audiology from 2015-2017.  In 2016, she was the recipient of the Kenneth W. Berger, Ph.D memorial scholarship. She completed her fourth year clinical externship with the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio.  After working for a couple years, she furthered her education and leadership experience by earning her Master of Business Administration through Louisiana State University in 2025.

Dr. Miltiades is happy to be back in her hometown of Cincinnati.  She works at Mercy Health in Cincinnati at the Kenwood and Fairfield offices, where she sees patients for a variety of audiology services, including: diagnostic hearing evaluations, hearing aid evaluations and fittings, cochlear implants, bone anchored implants, custom hearing protection, and vestibular evaluations (VNG).  She is a Past President of OAA and has worn many other hats with OAA since 2015, including Student Liaison, Southwest Liaison, Scholarship Chair, and now Membership Chair.  In addition to being a member and volunteer of OAA, she holds Board Certification in Audiology through the American Board of Audiology, is a Certificate Holder in Tinnitus Management (CH-TM), and she is a member of the American Academy of Audiology.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, her young daughter, and their pets.  She also enjoys cooking and exploring the sites and tastes of Cincinnati.  Geaux Tigers and Go Zips!

Maria Bonvissuto

Maria Bonvissuto, AuD, CCC-A is a clinical audiologist at Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital, specializing in adult hearing assessments and hearing aid management. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Speech and Hearing Sciences from Cleveland State University in 2017 and completed her Doctorate of Audiology (AuD) at the Northeast Ohio AuD Consortium (NOAC) in 2021, after completing her fourth-year externship at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus. Following graduation, she was appointed to a clinical audiologist position at Cleveland Clinic, where she focuses on adult diagnostics and amplification. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Bonvissuto serves as a preceptor to 3rd-year doctoral students and is the current Sponsorship Chair for the Ohio Academy of Audiology. In her free time, Maria enjoys playing video games, reading, and exploring new restaurants with her friends and family!

Gina Hounam is the Audiology Program Manager at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Oh. She received her B.A. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from The Ohio State University and her M.A. and PhD in Audiology from the University of Cincinnati. Gina has practiced audiology in a variety of settings for over 16 years. Her areas of interest focus on relationship-centered care, counseling and program development. She also has years of experience grant writing for non-profits and believes in supporting community education and awareness. Her goal both as a clinician and manager has always been to help patients and families overcome obstacles associated with hearing loss and achieve their maximum potential. In her current management role, Gina now focuses on assisting staff in achieving their full potential and expanding the services and programs offered at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.

 

Rachel Clary

Dr. Rachel Clary grew up in Canton, Ohio and attended The Ohio State University for her Bachelor's Degree. She then pursued her Doctorate of Audiology at the University of Akron. After completion of her externship year at the Cleveland VA Medical Center, she was hired by that same facility and has been there over 10 years. Dr. Clary is serving our military Veterans in clinic full-time performing diagnostics, fitting hearing aids, and fitting/programming cochlear implants. She precepts both 3rd year and 4th year graduate students, she is a secondary provider for telehealth services, and she is currently the Scholarship Chair serving on the Board for the Ohio Academy of Audiology. In her free time, Dr. Clary enjoys finding great local coffee shops, reading, golfing and playing in sand volleyball leagues all over the northcoast. Stephanie Noeller

Stephanie Noeller, Au.D., CCC-A is currently working for Cochlear Americas as the Recipient Solutions Manager for the Great Lakes region. A Recipient Solutions Manager is someone who works with cochlear and bone-anchored implant recipients after activation outside of the clinic setting to help them achieve their hearing goals and become educated on their implantable devices. Dr. Noeller earned her bachelor’s degree from the College of Wooster in 2018 and her Doctor of Audiology degree from the Northeast Ohio Au.D. Consortium in 2022 after completing a fourth-year externship at the Cleveland Clinic.
Dr. Noeller is committed to providing access to audiologic care for those who otherwise have difficulty traveling to a clinic. With a graduate certificate in Gerontology, she has a special passion for working with the older adult population. In graduate school, Dr. Noeller was on the Advocacy Committee for the Student Academy of Audiology, which advocated for increased services and flexibility in billing patients with Medicare for audiologic services at the Capitol in Washington D.C.
Dr. Noeller is an Ohio native and loves to get outside and explore the Cuyahoga Valley National Park system, traveling to cities she has never been, exploring new restaurants, and making time to exercise.

Dr. Heather Vaught is an audiology doctorate 2012 graduate of The Ohio State University. Her capstone project was a research and proposal for decreasing loss-to-follow up after a failed UNHS.

She worked from 2012 - 20017 at Galion Community Hospital as the UNHS Coordinator as well as providing electro-diagnostics, routine audiologic diagnostic services, hearing aid fittings and follow-up care, cochlear implant MAPping, and community outreach. She also joined the OhioHealth UNHS team in February of 2016. In 2017 Dr. Vaught opened a private practice office in Delaware, OH. Ascent Audiology & Hearing closed during the pandemic. 

Dr. Vaught is now a proud member of the Ohio Hearing & Audiology team which has over 27 locations throughout the state. She is serving the Delaware community.
